Ducati Scrambler BS6 range launched in India, check price and details
Italy’s superbike-making automobile company Ducati (Ducati) has launched the BS-6 emission standard bike Scrambler (Scrambler) range in India. Ducati started booking this bike long back. The company will start delivering BS6 Scrambler range to Indian customers from 28 January.
Dipati India Managing Director (MD) Bipul Chandra said that the Scrambler range has always been a favorite among customers and is the best-selling model range in India. The company is already selling the Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro in India. The company said bookings for the new range have started at all Ducati dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi, Kolkata and Chennai.
Ducati India has priced the showroom price of BS6 Ducati Scrambler Dark at Rs 7.99 lakh. Which goes up to Rs 8.49 lakh for BS6 Scrambler Icon. Ducati has also launched the BS6 Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro in India, priced at Rs 10.99 lakh. Ducati launched the Scrambler 1100 Pro model in September 2020.
Engine and features
The 2021 Ducati Scrambler Icon and Scrambler Icon Dark feature an 803 cc L-twin engine with BS-6 standards. This engine generates power of 71 bhp and peak torque of 66.2 Nm. The Ducati BS6 Scrambler motorcycle gets new suspension and cornering ABS. The company has also provided the option of Ducati multimedia system in the bike. With this multimedia system, the bike rider can listen to the muc, as well as answer any phone call on the mobile. In addition to the yellow color scheme, the Scrambler Icon will now also be available in red.
The Scrambler Icon Dark is the cheapest model in Ducati’s new Scrambler range. The company has introduced it with a black frame and gray rims with a matte black paint scheme. Ducati has also launched the new Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro in India with which two ICON models have been introduced. It has a tubular steel frame and aluminum sub-frame in black. The Scrambler 1100 Pro has the same engine as the 1,079 cc L-twin engine, which generates 85 bhp power and 88 Nm peak torque. The company has given a 6-speed gearbox with this engine.
