IND Vs ENG 2nd Test Updates: Team India all out for 286 in second innings, England needs 482 runs to win
With the help of Ravichandran Ashwin’s (106) century and captain Virat Kohli’s (62) half-century innings, India scored 286 in their second innings on Monday on the third day of the second Test match being played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here in front of England. A target of 482 runs has been set for victory. India had scored 329 runs in the first innings and they had taken a lead of 195 runs, including England for 134 runs in their first innings. India set a strong target in front of England on the fifth century of Ashwin’s Test career. This is the third time Ashwin has scored a century and five wickets in a single Test. In the second innings for India, Ashwin scored the highest innings of 106 runs with the help of 14 fours and a six off 148 balls. Apart from him, captain Virat Kohli scored 62, Rohit Sharma 26, Mohammad Siraj 16, Shubman Gill 14 and Ajinkya Rahane scored 10 runs. The remaining batsmen could not even reach double digits. From England, Jack Leach and Moin Ali got four wickets and Oli Stone got one wicket.
