Coronavirus recoveries in India cross 1 lakh mark, total cases rise to 2.07 lakh

Corona seems to be relieved in the country. In fact, the number of active cases of infection has come down to less than 7 lakhs for the second consecutive day. As of today, with 53,370 new Kovid-19 infection cases, the total corona cases in India rose to 78,14,682. At the same time, the number of deaths from infection has increased to 1,17,956 with 650 new deaths. The total active cases are at 6,80,680 after a decrease of 14,829 in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, a total of 70,16,046 people have been cured with 67,549 new discharges. India is breathing a bit of relief with a reduction in Corona’s daily figures. Apart from this, there are reports of more recovery from Corona soon.

According to the information of the Ministry of Health, there are 10 states and union territories which are contributing about 81% (about 74,000) in the daily figures of recovery. Half of the newly discharged patients are from 3 states. However these states also account for more than 48% of the country’s active cases.

Talking about Friday’s figures in India, India’s total cases increased to 77,61,312, with 54,366 new Kovid-19 infections in the country. Also, with 690 new deaths, the total number of deaths has risen to 1,17,306. The total active cases are 6,95,509 after a decrease of 20,303 in the last 24 hours. Also, in the last 24 hours, there have been 69,48,497 total cases with 73,979 new discharges.

There is also a steady decline in the rate of mortality and active cases in the country. The death rate fell to 1.51%. Apart from this, the rate of active cases which are under treatment is also less than 10 percent. According to the worldometer, India is the second most affected country in the world in terms of active cases and corona infections. India ranks third after death in the US and Brazil.
